AFETUM LTDA - ME, trading as AFETUM and registered in Brazil under CNPJ no. 64.927.073/0001-06, provides a platform for creating, customizing, purchasing and sharing digital letters.

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

The Afetum brand, visual identity, software and other platform elements belong to Afetum or its licensors. This does not affect your rights to the content of your letters.

• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract or use the platform with authorization from a legal guardian where applicable.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You may request account deletion under the Privacy Policy, subject to legal data-retention obligations.
• We may restrict or suspend access in cases of fraud, violation of these terms, unlawful use or security risk.

You retain your rights to the content you submit. To operate the service, you authorize Afetum to store, process and display that content according to the settings and link you choose.

• Submit only content that you are authorized to use and share.
• Obtain appropriate consent from identifiable people shown or mentioned in photos, videos, text or other data, especially consent from legal guardians when minors are involved.
• Do not use Afetum to publish unlawful, violent, discriminatory, fraudulent or privacy-infringing content, content that violates copyright or other third-party rights, or sexual content involving minors.
• We may remove, restrict or temporarily suspend a letter when there is a substantiated report, evidence of a violation of these terms or a legal obligation.

An active letter is viewed through the link you share. Anyone with that link may access the content while it is active. Do not treat the link as an absolute confidentiality mechanism.

Afetum currently offers a letter with a link active for 24 hours and a letter with a link active for 1 year. Features, availability and the applicable price are shown before purchase.

Prices and conditions may change for future purchases. A change does not alter the price or duration of a letter already purchased under the offer accepted at checkout.

At the end of the purchased period, the letter may be paused or become publicly unavailable according to the selected plan. Afetum will present renewal options when available.

Payments are processed by Mercado Pago, Stripe or PayPal depending on the payment method and location. Activation takes place after the relevant provider confirms payment.

If there is a confirmed billing or delivery error attributable to Afetum, we will assess the appropriate correction, cancellation or refund. You may also exercise any applicable statutory right of withdrawal within 7 days of purchase, without limiting consumer rights provided by law.

Afetum may undergo maintenance or updates and may be affected by provider failures or network instability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Afetum is not liable for losses caused by voluntarily sharing a letter link, misuse of the platform or unavailability caused by third-party services or providers outside our control.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be limited under applicable law, especially consumer rights.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, applicable law or our operations. The version published on this page is the current version.

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, without excluding mandatory consumer-protection or privacy rules that may apply to you.
